Donato Pescatore

Infrastructure & Safety Systems Specialist

Senior engineer with over four decades of experience in the design and delivery of large-scale infrastructure and environmental projects across Europe and Latin America. Mr. Pescatore combines the rigor of nuclear engineering with deep expertise in civil construction, providing technical oversight on project execution, safety management, environmental impact assessments, and the coordination of complex initiatives.

His leadership plays a key role in mitigating technical and operational risks, ensuring that Green Mining Italia’s mining and infrastructure activities are conducted in line with regulatory frameworks and the highest international standards of engineering, safety, and sustainability.

Nazzareno Romani

Geotechnical and Environmental Management Specialist

Senior geologist with over forty years of international experience in applied geology, environmental geotechnics, and hydrogeology. A leading figure in the industry, Dr. Romani has directed complex projects in environmental remediation, waste management, and soil stabilization across Italy, North Africa, and West Africa. Throughout his career, he has contributed to the design and geological assessment of numerous infrastructure projects, including roads, stabilization works, and waste management systems, as well as environmental impact studies and geomorphological analyses to support land-use planning.

His technical leadership ensures a rigorous assessment of geological and environmental risks, guaranteeing that Green Mining Italia projects are developed in compliance with regulatory frameworks and international ESG standards, thereby strengthening operational sustainability and the long-term resilience of mining assets.

José Edgardo Garcia

Project Finance & Governance

International economist and senior project finance strategist with over twenty years of experience in the mining, renewable energy, and infrastructure development sectors. Dr. García specializes in structuring complex financial architectures, multilateral investment models, and public-private partnerships (PPPs) in regulated environments and emerging markets. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with financial institutions and public bodies, contributing to the definition of financing strategies, investment governance models, and risk mitigation mechanisms for capital-intensive industrial and infrastructure projects.

He provides financial leadership to Green Mining Italia, ensuring capital discipline, structured risk governance, and alignment with international ESG standards. His work strengthens financial resilience, facilitates access to institutional capital, and supports scalable project development, consolidating investor confidence over the long term and safeguarding sustainable value creation.

Edoardo Ghirelli

Leader in International Mining Strategy & Field Operations

Mining geologist and field operations leader specializing in the integration of technical innovation, ESG governance, and responsible mineral supply chains within complex geopolitical contexts. Educated at top-tier universities in Italy and Austria, with operational experience in Africa and Latin America, Dr. Ghirelli focuses on the formalization of artisanal and small-scale mining (ASM), sustainable resource development, and the strategic management of field operations. He has gained extensive operational experience in logistically challenging mining environments and emerging jurisdictions, coordinating field activities and mining development initiatives in collaboration with government authorities, local institutions, and industry partners. He is a regular participant in institutional technical delegations, cooperation roundtables, and major global mining industry platforms.

He combines geoscience expertise with development models rooted in local communities, structuring operations that align regulatory compliance, institutional engagement, and long-term socio-economic impact. His work strengthens operational resilience, ensures alignment with ethical sourcing frameworks, and generates measurable sustainable value across emerging and frontier mining jurisdictions.

Alfredo W. Forti

Foreign Policy, Defense, and Geopolitical Strategy Specialist

A diplomat and strategist with extensive experience at the intersection of public institutions, defense, and the private sector. Having served as Ambassador to Honduras, Deputy Minister of Defense of Argentina, and Principal Advisor to the UN Secretary-General, Ambassador Forti brings an unparalleled global perspective to institutional reform, international negotiation, and crisis management. As Director of the South American Defense Council’s Center for Strategic Studies, his leadership on the "South America 2025" foresight study, the first of its kind to focus on strategic natural resources, placed him at the forefront of regional resource governance.
He holds academic degrees in International Politics and Public Policy from Harvard and American University.

His experience plays a key role in guiding Green Mining Italia through the complex geopolitical environments of the regions in which the company operates. By balancing public and private interests, with particular attention to national security and strategic resource management, he helps strengthen project resilience in the face of regulatory change while generating tangible benefits for local communities and stakeholders.

Sauro Ghirelli

Mining Strategy and Stakeholder Engagement

A professional with extensive experience in managing international mining operations, he is part of the Goldlake Group, which operates in the gold and polymetallic sector in Honduras (Central America), with offices in London (UK) and Gubbio (Italy) and operational bases in Tegucigalpa and El Paraíso. He has contributed to the development and management of gold concessions, promoting innovative extraction models and "cyanide-free" processes based on water recycling and the elimination of hazardous chemical additives. He was also part of one of the first mining companies internationally to obtain the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC) Chain of Custody certification for the production of ethical gold, in compliance with the highest international standards of traceability and responsibility.

His expertise in sustainable and certified gold mining operations, combined with a strong ability to engage technical stakeholders, represents a key asset for Green Mining Italia in building strong local relationships. His presence in the field fosters a clear understanding of the company’s projects, strengthens mutual trust, and supports the effective implementation of responsible extraction model.
